...alas, our trek through the wilderness actually brought us to the territory of the Botanical Gardens, which proved far less unkempt than we had anticipated.
Following our intrepid expedition we were in urgent need of hydration, and so we retreated to the Long Bar at the Raffles Hotel for some well-earned refreshment in the form of their signature Singapore Sling.
At least the monkey nut shells on the floor provided some sort of jungle authenticity...
